The Honeybee Sting is the delicious answer to a sustainable cocktail made with the Mexican spirit, Bacanora. I made a honey syrup using locally produced honey. The lemons are from a local farm and the mint is from my own backyard. I’ve also added a little heat from El Guapo’s Fuego Bitters🌶️ but you can also use your favorite spicy bitters. Bacanora is a delicious agave spirit with a smokiness that reminds you of Mezcal. Honeybee Sting🥃🐝🍯 2oz Bacanora 1oz Lemon Juice 1oz Honey Syrup* 3 dashes Fuego (or any spicy) Bitters 3-4 Mint Leaves Rim a rocks glass with Tajin. Add your ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled. Double strain into your rimmed glass with fresh ice. (Make sure to double strain so you don’t get pieces of mint in the glass😉) Garnish with mint. Enjoy!!

Who needs more drink options for breakfast or brunch?🥞🍳🥃 Here’s one you should try and it doesn’t involve coffee or champagne!🍾☕️😮 The Bronx is a delicious cocktail that invites gin to the breakfast table! It’s a classic riff on a martini but not as famous as some other drinks like the Brooklyn or the Manhattan. So skip the mimosas and Irish coffees at your next brunch and mix up a Bronx!🍸🍊☀️ Like a martini, it’s boozy but the addition of orange juice makes it feel refreshing and a perfect way to start the day (or end the night😉)! Bronx🍸🍊 2oz Gin 1/4oz Dry Vermouth 1/4oz Sweet Vermouth 1oz Orange Juice 1 dash Orange Bitters Add your ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake until well chilled. Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange twist. Enjoy!!

The Lion’s Tail is a delicious bourbon cocktail that feels like a tiki drink thanks to the allspice dram. This drink appeared around Prohibition in “The Café Royal Cocktail Book”. It was lost for years when allspice dram disappeared during the 1980’s until 2008 when St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram went into production. So celebrate International Whiskey Day this year with this once forgotten but very delicious bourbon drink and see why allspice dram is something you need to keep stocked in your cabinet!🍸🦁🥃 Lion’s Tail🦁🍸 2oz Bourbon 1/2oz Allspice Dram 1/2oz Like Juice 1tsp Simple Syrup 2 dashes Angostura Bitters Add your ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake until cooled and double strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime twist. Enjoy!!

The Champs-Élysées is a classic cocktail that’s very tasty and very underrated! It’s a riff on one of my favorite cocktails, the Sidecar, that keeps cognac as the base spirit, but uses Green Chartreuse instead of triple sec giving it more complexity in taste. It was created in the 1920’s, and because of the drink’s use of French spirits, it’s named after the famous avenue in Paris. While sipping on this cocktail, you may even feel transported to a cafe on the streets of Paris!😉 So give this classic a try and watch Green Chartreuse become one of your new favorite liqueurs!🍸🇫🇷🎉 Champs-Élysées🍸🇫🇷 2oz Cognac 1/2oz Green Chartreuse 3/4oz Lemon Juice 1/2oz Simple Syrup 2 dashes Angostura Bitters Add your ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled. Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist. Enjoy!!

How do you feel about champagne cocktails? It’s Valentine’s Day so a drink with a little bubbly is called for! The Kir Royale is a classic French cocktail that combines champagne with the blackcurrant liqueur, crème de cassis. It’s actually a riff on another classic cocktail, the Kir, which calls for white wine instead of champagne. The flavor of the liqueur mixes perfectly with the champagne and gives it a nice dark red/purple color. It’s great for date night, brunch, or any other occasion that goes well with champagne! So get the bubbly ready for Valentine’s Day and don’t forget the crème de cassis!🍾🥂❤️ Kir Royale🍾 3/4oz Crème de Cassis 4-5oz Champagne (or Sparkling Wine) Add crème de cassis to your cooked champagne flute. Then pour champagne into your glass. Garnish with a blackberry and lemon twist. Enjoy!!
