There’s a big difference between recognizing that you don’t want to be alone forever and being ready to dive into a new relationship. Healing thru grief and trauma is like peeling an onion. You get thru one layer and think you re feeling good until something triggers you and you realize there’s this new layer that needs to be dealt with. Peeling an onion layered with your ex in the throws of a new relationship is not my idea of a good time.
