Directions For Use
Hand Made Perfumery
Fragrance oils make wonderful additions to handmade perfumes. For cologne designed to be applied to freshly shaved skin, a maximum dilution of 0.93% is appropriate. This would apply to both Eau de Toilettes and fine fragrances. For products designed for unshaven skins, you can be more liberal. Maximum dilution would then be 27%.
If you use Fresh Linen Fragrance oil in deodorant or antiperspirant products, the maximum dilution is 0.43%. This applies to either roll-on or body spray products.
Body Care
As per the IFRA regulations, the maximum safe dilution for Fresh Linen Fragrance Oil is set at 11.25% if used for body creams, foot care products, insect repellents, or talcum powder. Be more conservative for facial treatments and hand care products, including sanitizers. Use a maximum dilution of 1.9%.
Soaps And Bathroom Fragrances
Fresh Linen Fragrance oil lends itself well to bathroom products. Maximum dilution for soaps, shampoos, or any other IFRA category 9 product is 5.75%. This category also covers laundry pretreatment and cleaning products.
Maximum dilution for making an aerosol room spray or any other item that will be propelled using a pump is 18%.
Candles
Candles and related scented items fall under Category 12 of the IFRA safety standards. Fresh Linen Fragrance oil has no restrictions on use for category 12. Feel free to use as much or as little as pleases your nose.
