What else you need to know
What are the key ingredients and benefits of this product?
- Advanced Even Tone Day & Night Treatment targets hyperpigmentation with 3% Tranexamic Acid, 5% Niacinamide, 5% Glycolic Acid, 2% Kojic Acid and 1% Bakuchiol to exfoliate and fade the look of discoloration. It helps improve the appearance of stubborn dark marks, smooths rough texture and visibly reduces the signs of aging skin.
What is the difference between Advanced Even Tone Day & Night Treatment and Even Tone Night Treatment?
- While both Advanced Even Tone Day & Night Treatment and Even Tone Night Treatment improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation and rough texture, this new advanced formula does not contain retinol or hydroquinone. Without these two ingredients, Advanced Even Tone Day & Night Treatment is gentle enough to be used up to two times per day and is well suited to address uneven skin tone while pregnant or nursing*.
How often can I use Advanced Even Tone Day & Night Treatment?
- This gentle yet powerful daily treatment can be used up to two times a day. You should begin by using once a day for the first two weeks to see how your skin tolerates the formula before increasing use to twice a day.
Why doesn’t this formula have hydroquinone?
- Products with hydroquinone cannot be used 365 days a year, and we wanted a product that our customers can use all year round. Hydroquinone isn’t suitable for pregnant or nursing women, and as a brand that prides itself on inclusivity, we chose to remove the ingredient.
Can I use this product with other treatments?
- Yes, this formula can be used in conjunction with other Urban Skin Rx® products.
Will I need to take a 60 to 90 day break after using this formula, as is recommended when using Even Tone Night Treatment?
- No, this new advanced formula does not contain hydroquinone, so there is no need to stop using this product unless you experience an adverse reaction. If itching or a rash occurs due to the use of this or any product, it is recommended to discontinue use as you may be allergic to one or more ingredients.
Do I put this product on my full face or just the dark spots?
- This product should be used on the entire face to avoid blotches from spot treatments; however, if marks are especially stubborn, you can alternate between spot treating and applying to the full face.
Are your products tested on animals?
- No. We take pride in being a cruelty-free company!
If I took your Skin Quiz and this product wasn’t suggested, does that mean that I shouldn’t use this product?
- While our product recommendations are carefully selected for the needs of a specific type of skin to give the best results, many people will modify their routine with other products as needed. If you feel this product could be right for you, we encourage you to try it!
