What it is?
The mysterious "Sub-Antarctic" Killer Whale, also called the "Type D" Orca, is a strange type of Orca that may represent a unique isolated population of these large cetaceans, or an all new species altogether. Recent studies indicate the unique features of this type of Orca may be due to a lack of genetic diversity.
