What it is?
The most arboreal of all the great apes, orangutans spend most of their time in trees. Females are wholly responsible for raising their young; they feed them, sleep in the same trees as them, and carry them everywhere. This mama and her baby are coming over to say hello!
Key Benefits
- History: Studied extensively for their knowledge and learning capabilities, orangutans have showed an ability to master sophisticated tools, solve puzzles, and communicate through a basic form of sign language.
