When I was in high school, right after gym class, this kid named Jake came up to me and he looked at me and he said, you wear way too much blush and you look like a clown. I wasn't wearing any blush, we'd just run the mile in gym. But that day sparked an intense love of blush for me and ever since then I've really liked going kind of heavy-handed. I like the dramatic effect, I like how it makes you look flushed and healthy. And I've had my eye on this Pixi by Petra Sheer cheek gel. So it actually is kind of a scary looking color in the bottle, like it looks like blood. It's so pretty already, I know I'm gonna love this. I am all about this. Like I said, I like heavy-handed blush, but I feel like you could definitely go a lot more subtle. I just put a lot on. Oh, that's pretty. That is really pretty, oh my gosh. You know, what it reminds me of, it's not really meant for lips, is Benetint by Benefit though. That's pretty too. Oh, a little bit more.

What's one of the best ways to know whether somebody's telling you the truth about a product or not? Purchase a new one. The Pixi gel blush I have cut it open to scrape to the bottom and yes, I have another one in my cart right now that will be part of my next purchase. I have it on already. That's what I'm wearing underneath what I'm reapplying. There are countless reasons that I love this because it is a liquid base. It's not thick, it's not oily, almost feels watery, but when you blend it in it gives you a very natural glow that you can build on. I also put it on my lips to kind of give it a stain before I put the rest of my lipstick on so that even if it fades gives my lips that natural juicy red look.
