I could not stand being triggered awake by my old alarm clock and having to use my phone first thing in the morning to turn off its alarm means I was starting the day— with my phone in my hand. I bet you didn’t know you could craft delicious, flaky, croissants in your waffle maker? 😏 Croissants eaten as waffles?? Introducing the “Croffle”! You’ll need: A waffle maker 1 can of Pillsbury Grands! Crescents Cinnamon/sugar Maple syrup Powdered sugar for finishing Roll your crescents out and flatten them with a pin or your hands Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over the top Loosely roll the crescents into shape Place the crescents into your waffle maker ensuring they do not touch Once golden brown, remove and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

-You’ll need a good-quality nonstick frying pan (trust me on this 😅). My go-to is ScanPan! -Grab your string cheese and slice the amount you’re going to cook in half. You’re going to want to make enough! 😋 -Heat your pan to medium and add a light coat of a vegetable oil, I use avocado oil. Ensure your pan is not cool or too hot. These babies will cook fast! -Without crowding the pan and in a single layer, add in the cheese and let cook on one side for approx 1-2 minutes. Gently press cheese into pan during this time for that golden crust. -Turn your cheese over and repeat cooking 1-2 minutes while pressing down into the pan. -Promptly remove cheese from the pan and serve immediately with marinara sauce or eat as is! I dusted mine with some parsley to be fancy. 🎩
