Happy day! Hopefully, you’re having an awesome morning, but if not, at least it’s Friday. Just breathe and get to drawing. I have had trouble with being a perfectionist, but that’s just past traumas tricking me into thinking if I can make things perfect or be perfect then I will be safe from ridicule and abuse. Really it just causes me to be extremely hard on myself and adds unnecessary stress. Perfection is just a word. The more I learn to accept mistakes/imperfections and see beauty beyond them, the easier life gets. Your picture is beautiful and its imperfections are what makes it unique.

You can draw. Just breath and let your pen/ pencil/ crayon flow and the calming energy in. It’s ok to make mistakes. It’s ok if your drawing doesn’t look like others. If you look at flowers in real life, they are not perfect and they do not look exactly the same. If nature isn’t perfect, why should you be? Share your works below.

My great grandmother showed me how to draw some simple lil flowers when I was young (4/5yr). Drawing can be very relaxing and help calm the brain. Just breathe and draw. I continue to bounce around, make new scribbles, bring more balance, and make the drawing take as long as my moment needs. You can buy nice pen sets like the one I have attached or a regular bic like I used. You can literally just scribble and see where the drawing takes you. Just breathe and draw.
