    Why Am I On Flip? Technically, it began when I was admitted into a psychiatric hospital in August of 2023, but the physical symptoms began Thanksgiving of 2023. I still have Erythromelalgia, a rare condition, and am now kept hyperthyroid to stay cancer suppressed. Although I no longer have a thyroid, I can still have thyroid cancer again. After my thyroid was removed, we learned I had both Hashimoto’s and Grave’s Disease, along with Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma. I thought I would only ever suffer from mental health issues, so this was, and is still, hard to grasp The only reason I survived this is because of God and my husband.     Love the little scream at the end, it is a total mood. The reason I can’t take my thyroid medication is because it has to be on an empty stomach with no other meds or vitamins for four hours. If I were to wait four hours, I would most definitely have to go to the hospital.
