Backstory
You may be asking yourself what in the world "Haldi Doodh" means. No worries, we’re here to help! "Haldi" means turmeric and "doodh" means milk in Hindi - literally translating to "turmeric milk". Pretty simple right? It's haldi, dude. Just like chai, haldi doodh was a regular in our founder Farah’s Indian household growing up. Her mom would have her drink it regularly to help maintain their immune systems. Turmeric is known widely for its anti-inflammatory and gut-benefitting properties. Black pepper enhances the absorption of turmeric's active ingredient, curcumin, while cinnamon provides a slightly sweet finish to balance out the earthiness of turmeric. You can also add on a long serving and mixing spoon to complete your at-home turmeric latte kit.
