Nantucket Footprint laundry detergent sheets are our answer to this massive ecological problem.

- Our laundry detergent sheets are water soluble and biodegradable. Our packaging is plastic-free, and made from cardboard. Just put the laundry detergent strips in your washing machine as you would liquid detergent or a laundry pod, but without the harmful environmental effects. For those who prefer detergent with no scent, we developed our unscented version without the use of essential oils or other fragrances.
- Our new 48 strip box is formulated with the addition of natural biological enzymes. These enzymes help to catalyze the reaction between stains and the water solution when washing clothes, and have incredible stain-fighting power.
- These laundry detergent strips are highly-effective and contain no water, making them compact, lightweight, and better for the environment. They contain no artificial fragrances or dyes.

What's in Our Cleaner
- Safer, Earth-Friendly Ingredients - There are a lot of “green-washed” products out there. Nantucket Footprint is committed to not being among them. When we set out to make our cleaning formulas, we decided to follow a few basic principles:
- Full Ingredient Transparency - Our laundry detergent strip ingredients are all disclosed on our packaging and more details can be found here – most household cleaners sold in the USA still don’t disclose ingredients and aren’t required to. We are committed to 100% ingredient transparency for all our products.
- Cosmetic Quality Ingredients - There are no strict standards for cleaning product ingredients in the USA, so we decided that all of the ingredients in our laundry detergent sheets needed to not only be on the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Safer Choice list but also must have the lowest (safest) ratings on the Environmental Working Group’s (EWG) Skin Deep Database (no ingredient should have a higher rating than a 2). In addition, none of our ingredients appear on the Suzuki “Dirty Dozen List" – our thinking is that products used in your home should have the best ingredients that would be safe enough to use on your body (they of course aren’t intended for bodies – this was just our standard).
- Free from Harmful Chemicals - In support of our mission to protect the planet, our Nantucket Footprint cleaning products are free from sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, phosphates, phthalates, parabens, artificial fragrances, triclosan, methylisothiazolinone, and benzisothiazolinone.
- Unscented - When we formulated our Chamomile laundry detergent sheets, we decided to add just a hint of essential oils to them – but some might prefer no scent, so we developed an unscented version without essential oils.
- Kicking Single-Use Plastic to the Curb - Our boxes are made from cardboard (even the child-resistant button). With over 120 million households in the USA, there is a huge amount of plastic waste created from household cleaning products each year. Imagine what an impact we can have together by eliminating single-use plastic laundry detergent bottles!

We donate a portion of each sale to Rainforest Trust, an environmental organization that protects endangered species, threatened rainforests, and other tropical ecosystems around the world. We are mindful that the most humble creatures with the smallest footprints are impacted everyday by the choices we all make.
