So my boyfriend went out to dinner with a friend, and that seemed like a perfect time for me to try out my new Meason paring knife I got from Flip. Alright, so I've got my broccoli, like I said, don't judge me, it's kind of old, on its last leg here in the fridge. And I'm just gonna cut it up a little bit smaller for the dish. Okay, yeah, alright, I already washed it. Don't need that, ooh, wow. That actually cuts right through. So all in all, I totally recommend this knife from Meason, the paring knife. And probably all of their knives are excellent. They are really, really nice, and a great value for the price. They really aren't that expensive for what they're bringing to the table. Yeah, have fun cooking, y'all.

I finally got my hands on a mason knife and it is totally worth the hype. So it's summertime which means it's peak strawberry season and I just can't get enough of picking them. They're also the perfect opportunity to put to use my new little knife that I am truly so impressed with. This little thing is beautiful. It's just under eight inches from top to bottom. The handle is the most stunning shade of blue and the blade itself is exactly what I expected. Super sharp and about three inches long. It's perfect for something like cutting the tops off of strawberries but you could also use a paring knife for peeling, so peeling apples, potatoes, coring things like tomatoes, anything that is a little bit more detail oriented where you don't need a large chef's knife to do the job. Mason is known for the quality of their knives at the price point at which they're at and so far I'm really impressed. And speaking of pairing, these strawberries go so well with fresh cream.
