I went and shopped for the Bed Bath & Beyond store closing sale more than a few times. It came in real handy considering I just moved. While I got a great deal on my new Vitamix blender, I bought this wooden utensil set and I've been really disappointed. This set has actually given my fiance splinters and I hate how even though they're all from the same set, they're discolored and don't look like they match. I've been looking to improve my wooden spoon game ever since and I'm so excited to have this wooden spoon from Material Kitchen. It comes in the same walnut shade that matches my cutting board and my knife stand and it's so pretty I'm kind of scared to actually cook with it, but I will be.

If you follow my videos, you know I just bought two wooden spoons. One from Hawkins New York and one from Material Kitchen. My first review was when they were brand new. Now that I've used them a couple times, I wanted to check back in. The Hawkins New York spoon lost some of its shine pretty quickly. I'm going to have to oil it. That's not that big of a deal, but I did want to point it out. Meanwhile, my Material Kitchen spoon still looks like it's brand new. What do you think? Which one looks better?
