I tried retinol for the first time and this is what I think. Retinol has always been a scary product for me because I know once you start you can't really go back and it's really harsh. But these Dr. Jart pads actually didn't make me red and didn't make me break out but I've only used it once so let's see.

Let's talk about these Dr. Dennis Gross overnight texture renewal peel pads. I'm 52 and I have been using retinol for over 30 years. So you'll notice that the pad is textured and that is going to help exfoliate as you're applying the product to your skin. I apply it two to three times a week in the evening after I cleanse and before my other serums and moisturizers. And I've noticed that it really helps with the fine lines and it also helps to firm my skin. The pads include Bacuchiol, which is a naturally derived plant-based alternative to retinol. So it's going to be a little bit gentler than a full-on retinol product. But that being said I would start out slow. You may want to start out with just once a week. If you're looking for a gentle yet effective retinol product, I would definitely recommend these.

When I worked at Sephora, I would sell these all the time just because they're a product that really does truly work. And it helps a million different skin concerns. Honestly, it helps with anti-aging, dark spots, acne, anything you can think of. You swipe on that first step, neutralize it with the second. Super easy to use. I absolutely love these.

These easy two-step peel pads are my favorite part of my skincare routine. You just open them up, use the first one, let it wait for about two minutes, you'll see me waiting, and then I use the second one. Super easy, you can do it morning and night. I do it once a week and voila!
