Want the quick hit or the sustained energy? Want the food that taste good but is bad for you? Or the food that is good for you but may not taste good. I’ve been transitioning to eating to nourish my body and soul, not just my emotions (candy, chocolate, sweet drinks, packaged food, fried food) for over 10 years. We had to take this seriously when my husband was faced with reoccurring hospital visits and the doctor kept saying he was fine. We knew something was wrong so we took his health into our hands. Ever since cutting out unhealth carbs, reducing sugar, and increasing veggie intake, my husband has been able to not have to visit the hospital unless it’s for his check ups and I feel more alert, alive, and awake.
