My $200 mistake When I first started my business, I ordered 500 custom instructional cards. I’ve probably used about 30% of them—and now I’m ordering new ones because the copy no longer applies. Unless you’re super clear on what you want to say or you’ve been in business for a while, I’d recommend ordering in smaller batches. What if there’s a typo? What if the wording doesn’t feel right? What if your product changes and the copy becomes outdated? Things evolve, and it’s way easier (and cheaper) to adjust when you’re not stuck with hundreds of extras.
