10 years ago, we bought a house that needed a COMPLETE rebuild. We had four kids, our youngest was just three months old (0 stars, do not recommend this timing ๐). We did not plan to do the kitchen right away, but eww there was NO WAY I would cook in there. So, we spent 48 hours getting the living room painted and old carpet out, then added a "kitchenette" space so we could redo the kitchen. 10 years later, it's time to redo. The kitchen has a lot of wear and tear. It was also a quick build on a budget so the cabinets aren't the best in terms of hanging on for the long haul. So, we're hoping to start redoing it late winter/early spring. Open shelves or back to cabinets is the question ๐ค
