Mini Middle Eastern Kabobs These flavorful kabobs are easy to make and perfect for a protein boost. I used ground beef, but a mix of beef and lamb (50/50) adds even more flavor. Instructions: Process 1/2 onion, 4-5 garlic cloves, and a handful of parsley. In a bowl, combine 1 lb ground beef (or mix) with the processed ingredients. Add salt, 1 tbsp thyme, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp cumin, 1.5 tbsp sumac, 1/2 tbsp Aleppo pepper, and pepper. For juiciness, mix in 1/4 to 1/2 tsp baking soda and 1/4 cup bone broth. Let sit for at least 30 minutes, ideally overnight. Shape and grill or pan-fry until browned. Serve with labneh dip and pickled red onions (thin-sliced onion, lemon juice, salt, sumac). Enjoy as is, in bowls, or wraps!
