Reasons I prefer car camping as a solo traveler: Safety: I feel much safer sleeping in my car than in a tent. With wildlife and other potential threats, a car with locked doors offers better security. Plus, if I need to make a quick escape, I can jump in the driver’s seat and go. Comfort: Car camping offers more comfort options. A quality air mattress has been a game changer, and I can easily set up fans, use extra blankets, and control the temperature with my windows. It’s also easier to keep out dirt. Ease: Setting up and tearing down a tent and all your gear is a lot of work, especially when traveling solo. With car camping, I can keep my sleeping area ready and stationary, making it much simpler.
