Crispy Pork Chicharrones Ingredients: 2 lbs pork belly, sliced 8 cups water 2 cups cooking oil 1 small onion (quartered) 1 tbsp black peppercorns 6 bay leaves 8 garlic cloves 1 tbsp salt Instructions: 1. Score the fat side of the pork belly. 2. Boil water with peppercorns, bay leaves, garlic, onion, and salt. Add pork belly and boil for 1 hour. 3. Remove, pat dry, and refrigerate uncovered overnight. 4. Heat oil to 350°F and deep fry pork belly until crispy (8-10 mins per side). 5.
