Sansevierias thrive in indirect sunlight but tolerates low light. Avoid direct sun to prevent leaf burn. Water when the soil becomes completely dry. Overwatering can cause root rot. Use a well-draining potting mix, and cactus or succulent soil works best. Ideal temperature is 60-85°F. Protect from drafts and cold temperatures below 50°F. Prefers low humidity, so no need for misting. Feed monthly during the growing season (spring and summer) with a diluted cactus fertilizer. Repot every 2-3 years or when root-bound. Sansevierias are known to help purify the air by absorbing toxins. They're also called "mother-in-law's tongue" because of their long, sharp leaves!
