Homemade Bagels: - 2 tsp active dry yeast - 11/2 tbsp sugar - 1 1/4 cups warm water -3 1/2 cups AP flour - 11/2 tsp salt - Oil for bowl - 1 egg white - In bowl pour 1/2 cup warm water, sugar & yeast. Don't stir, let sit for 5 min. - Separate bowl, mix flour & salt. Make well in the middle & pour in yeast mixture. - Pour remaining warm water into well. Mix & stir until moist & firm.
