Somuni or Bosnian flatbread: Traditional Bites of Comfort Somuni are more than just bread—they’re a taste of tradition, warmth, and home. Somuni are soft, airy flatbreads with a golden crust, often served fresh from the oven alongside cevapi, stews, or spreads. Their slightly chewy texture and perfect balance of crispiness make them irresistible. I am baking them very often and fill with some “cevapi”( ground meat kebabs) or some shredded chicken etc.
