This was the last recording of young Judith Eva Barsi’s voice. The 10-year-old actress voiced Anne-Marie in All Dogs Go To Heaven (1989). In 1988, the young actress and her mother were tragically murdered by Barsi’s father while they slept. Burt Reynolds, who played Charlie, was deeply affected when he learned about the tragedy but had to complete the recording of the final dialogues. During the session, the actor needed dozens of takes to finish, as he couldn’t hold back tears while saying, “I’ll miss you too.”
