More socialized or less? What’s your take? Personally, I believe my homeschooled kids are more socialized than those in the public school system. Since they’re not confined to a classroom all day, they’re out in the real world—engaging, learning, and experiencing life hands-on. They chat with zookeepers during weekday visits, attend library classes and demonstrations with people of all ages, and participate in an agricultural club that spans from ages 5 to 18. We explore museums, bookstores, historical sites, and forests—constantly interacting with diverse individuals from different backgrounds and education levels. Instead of spending most of their day in a room with only same-age peers, they’re out there learning from life itself—all while having fun and making unforgettable memories.
