Persistence is the bridge between dreams and reality. Today, I reflect on the power of those words: "I will persist until I succeed." They come from Og Mandino's The Greatest Salesman in the World, a book gifted to me by a stranger when I was a teenager. I held onto it because of a passage that ignited something within me: "I am not a sheep waiting to be prodded by my shepherd. I am a lion, and I refuse to walk, to talk, to sleep with sheep. The slaughterhouse of failure is not my destiny. I will persist until I succeed." These words remind me that persistence is about courage, self-belief, and refusing to settle. Lions don’t retreat—they rise, and so can you. 🦁💪
