Sometimes our soaps get a white film on them during curing, it's called Soda Ash. This is how we remove it. Soda Ash is something that happens a lot with handmade soaps. It's just a reaction between the lye in the soap and the carbon dioxide in the air. It's completely harmless, it just doesn't look pretty.
