Step 1. Make a starter. Important that you start with organic, preferably stone ground wheat flour and distilled water. Not sure why distilled is favorable… I think it has to do with less minerals giving the correct bacteria a better chance to thrive. We will track this starter day by day, for about 7 to 10 days before your starter is considered “good to go” for bread making 👍 I still consider myself an amateur baker of sourdough but what I can tell you is the loaves I’ve created are super delicious, flavorful and we are all hopelessly addicted to them.
