Priorities and Boundaries are hard to set, and even harder to keep when you get really upset feeling like you let anyone down. That is common ADHD trait in women like me who are diagnosed later in life. Hard lessons and high emotions hurt, but I'm trying to focus my energies on my immediate family unit, keeping us on track and healthy. And keeping MYSELF healthy, which is much easier when I am not trying to handle everyone else's issues and problems on top of my own. I can't fix everything for everyone, I am not responsible for their past choices, so I should not be responsible for their consequences either. That is my mantra.
