✨1.5 pounds ground beef or sausage (used I 1lb sausage & 1lb ground beef) ✨1 cup onion (chopped) ✨1 green pepper (chopped) ✨1 T garlic ✨1 tsp EACH onion powder garlic powder & cumin ✨32oz beef broth ✨8oz cream cheese (softened) ✨3- 4oz cans mild green chiles ✨2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Directions: 1. Brown ground beef or sausage in pot over medium heat. Drain off the grease. 2. Add the onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic and saute for 5-6 minutes until the onion has softened. 3. Add the spices and broth and bring to a simmer. Cover the soup and reduce the heat to low & cook 10 minutes. 4. Add the softened cream cheese, green chiles, and shredded cheese. Stir soup until cream cheese and cheese has melted completely.
