✨4 tablespoons butter ✨1 small onion (diced) ✨1 cup sliced carrots ✨1 cup sliced celery ✨6 cloves garlic (minced) ✨1 T Italian seasoning ✨2 tsp dried rubbed sage ✨3 T flour + more for tossing the biscuits ✨4 cups chicken broth ✨2 cups shredded chicken ✨2 cups heavy cream ✨1 cup frozen peas ✨2 bay leaves ✨16oz. refrigerated biscuit dough or make your own ✨Salt/pepper 1. Melt butter in large pot. 2. Add onion, celery & carrot. Cook until tender. 3. Cut biscuits into 6 pieces & toss in flour. 4. Add garlic, Italian seasoning, dried sage, season with salt and pepper. 5. Add flour and stir until combined. Stir in broth. 6. Add chicken, heavy cream, frozen peas, and bay leaves & stir to combine. Bring to a simmer. 7. Add biscuits. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for about 15 minutes until dough is cooked through.
